Seafarers join our Immersive VR Bridge, VASCO, via Meta Quest headsets, from a geographical location of their choice. Connection is via a Wi-Fi or mobile phone hotspot, it couldn’t be easier.
They will join a fully immersive and interactive bridge environment, where after rapid onboarding, they will immediately commence navigational training, manoeuvring the vessel through a series of scenarios with differing levels of complexity, appropriate to the need.
The sense of being there is immediate. This multi-user training environment is revolutionising how training and assessment in bridge resource management together with collision regulations can be delivered..

Our expert Master Mariners will host your team within a series of pre-designed, scheduled sessions which run on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, but dates/times are entirely flexible to your needs..
Kilo’s training expertise will provide coaching, mentoring and evaluation for your team and we commit to train as you operate.
Training best practice, we ensure our scenarios are tailored to your needs to ensure that you realise the tangible benefits of VR Navigational Training, expertly delivered by a Master Mariner Instructor with related seagoing experience.

How does it work?

BOOK
Book your preferred sessions, specifying dates, times and scenarios required, via our online booking system.

JOIN
Training days are 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. Joining instructions will invite you to join via your Meta Quest headset on the agreed date and time.

TRAIN
Your team will be welcomed onto the Bridge of VASCO by our Master Mariner instructor. After a brief introduction to the Tech, VASCO will be underway and the navigational challenge begins.

GAIN
Your vessel will gain Competent, Compliant and Confident Bridge teams whose skills can be continuously improved and evaluated, rendering skill fade a thing of the past.
COSTING
How Much Does it Cost?
Attendance at a VASCO Supported Scenario for up to 3 participants costs £650 + VAT per scenario.
Cost of a Meta Quest 3 Headset is £590 + VAT.
