VASCO 4 Educators is designed to increase simulator capacity as a complementary capability to fixed simulators, enabling educators to strengthen learning outcomes and helping seafarers accelerate professional development.


This reflects the wider direction of UK maritime training, where the MCA’s Cadet Training and Modernisation Programme is placing greater emphasis on simulator use, immersive training tools, blended assessment and more flexible approaches to cadet competency development.


VASCO 4 Educators gives training providers a practical way to respond to that shift, increasing active simulator time while keeping bridge team development structured, instructor-led and scenario based.
